Jason "J'Shi" Robinson is a native of Dallas, Texas. He studied at the Dallas Cultural Center and Texas's Women University. Jason, a talented musician/producer, has been playing keyboards, bass, and drums, professionally since the age of 14.

Jason is the CEO of Tone Def Music, an independent Gospel/R&B label, whose releases include Machelle Robinson (inspirational artist), Nai (R&B artist), and Komplete Kreation (gospel artist).

Jason is also a live audio/studio engineer who professional credits include working with numerous artists and musicians. He is the musical director for Kim Fields and has been for such plays as Body Parts, Hidden Betrayal, Issues, If I Never See Forever, Walking Dead, Itching Ears and Family Man.
